I’m Valeria, a portrait photographer based in King’s Lynn, Norfolk.

My work centres on women — photographing them in a way that feels calm, honest, and unforced. I’m drawn to simplicity, sculpted light, and a slower pace, creating portraits that feel timeless rather than trend-led.

Many of the women I photograph tell me they don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera. My role is to remove that pressure. Each session is gently guided, with space to settle, breathe, and be present — allowing expression to emerge naturally, without performance.

I work primarily in the studio, where light and environment can be carefully controlled, keeping the focus on you rather than distractions. Styling is kept simple and considered, and support is provided throughout, so you never need to worry about how to pose or what to do.

This approach is quiet by design. I believe photography should feel grounding, not overwhelming — an experience that leaves you feeling seen, rather than scrutinised.
